Capgemini UK won the 'Most Effective IT Services Partnership' award at the 2007 'Effective IT Awards' for the successful collaboration with ING Direct.

Working as collaborative partners, Capgemini and ING Direct were able to complete the launch of ING Direct’s first mortgage project to specifications and launch a project that allowed customers applying for a mortgage a simpler and faster service.
To prove the success of the project, Peter Knight, IT Director of ING Direct UK remortgaged his house via an online application and was rewarded when the application went through rapidly, smoothly and successfully.
