As the volume of information circulating within organisations continues to grow exponentially, the most successful private companies and public sector organisations are those that effectively exploit their business information.
In our report The Information Opportunity we have taken an in-depth look at these issues as they relate to FTSE350 companies and public sector organisations. We have surveyed 125 senior executives within these organisations to drill down to the very heart of the matter, asking about their drivers, strategies and challenges associated with information exploitation. In particular, our aim has been to move away from simply viewing information as an IT issue and place it instead firmly within the business.
This report sets out our research findings with the objective of not just telling it how it is, but equally of identifying best practice and outlining the tools and methodologies that can ensure the rewards of enterprise-wide information exploitation are reaped.
