Capgemini UK plc Honoured as Partner of the Year in 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards for Custom Development Solution at NHS Wales
Capgemini UK was honoured with the Partner of the Year Award for Sales and Marketing in the Custom Development Solutions category at the 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards.

Capgemini UK has won the Partner of the Year Award for Sales and Marketing in the Custom Development Solutions category at the 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology. The awards were distributed at a ceremony on July 12 in Boston, MA, at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.
Gerry Yantis, Vice President of Healthcare Services at Capgemini UK plc, said: ‘I am naturally delighted that Capgemini has won this important award against stiff global competition. Rapid iterative development proved key to delivering information and services to the customer – in this case NHS Wales and its patients. Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. Capgemini UK plc was recognized for superior Sales and Marketing in the Custom Development Solutions category. The Custom Development Solutions Award recognizes the year’s top partners in providing custom-developed solutions to customers who require value-added capabilities. Capgemini UK plc won this award by developing a patient portal solution for NHS Wales that will benefit patients by increasing their ability to care for themselves.’
