Capgemini are leaders for innovative development of solutions based on IBM technology. We have a significant IBM skills base in our Outsourcing and Technology Services disciplines and a substantial investment in IBM technology at our Accelerated Delivery Centre (ADC) in Aston, Birmingham.

Advanced infrastructure capability around IBM hardware
Capgemini’s recent projects indicate the extent to which we are working with our clients and IBM to deliver cost effective and innovative solutions:
- Testing Oracle on Linux performance, running on Z-series Mainframes to support cost effective database deployment
- The deployment of a virtualised blade environment for a large financial services client to support NT4 migration
- The rollout of IBM’s new Linux ePOS system to all of Matalan’s stores in the UK which included the design, build and deployment of 2350 ePOS systems and 185 InStore Servers. This is probably the biggest Linux deployment in Retail worldwide for Capgemini.
