Louise Cave
was the Helpdesk and Order Desk Team Leader with RHL in Horsham,
who transferred to Capgemini in London as a result of Capgemini winning the Metropolitan
Police Contract in 2006.
“I transferred over to Capgemini in December 2006. Initially there was a big
concern due to the location of the office (London) adding over an hour onto most
of our journeys. The Capgemini transition team made themselves available for
meetings whether individual or group and invited us to visit our new office.
Communication was generally good between all involved and when there were issues
they were ironed out fairly quickly.
The transition went well and everyone has settled in and adjusted well. Some of us have even signed up to the Capgemini contract already with great benefits. Looking forward I will be undertaking the ITIL Foundation Course having already completed a basic overview session. This is a great opportunity to be able to work towards this accreditation.
