Craig Clennell
is a Lead Software Analyst who transferred to Capgemini from EDS
in 2004 when Capgemini won the Aspire contract. He has held a number of roles
over the past 6 years, mainly in the Testing area.
“I was in a high pressure test analyst role when we were informed that Capgemini
had won the contract, I remember a feeling of shock initially. I never really
considered having a choice to transition to Capgemini, I was just thankful that
I still had a job. After a few weeks the news was old news and it was business
as usual, apart from some managerial changes the first 12 months of my time with
Capgemini was similar to that with EDS.
A few years on I feel that my move to Capgemini has been very rewarding, I have completed the Modern Apprenticeship Programme and was soon after accepted onto the Accelerated Development Academy in 2006. These opportunities have educated me on Aspire, wider Capgemini and introduced me to a diverse group of people. I have no doubt that the training I have received as part of the programmes has enabled me to make better decisions with regards to my career within Capgemini.
I have recently moved to a new project and role in an attempt to broaden my knowledge and increase my skill set within testing. I am confident that I will get the required support from Capgemini for me to reach my short-term career aspirations.”
