Glenda Stone, Chief Executive of Aurora, which helped The Times to research and compile the list, commented on the organisations that made the Top 50: “The standard is very high, the initiatives are very successful and, best of all, there is real hope that organisations are betting better at recruiting, retaining and developing female talent.”

Amanda Shrimpton, Head of Employee Relations, Capgemini said: “This award recognises everything that we are doing at Capgemini to be a progressive employer for all of our employees. That we are one of the Top 50 places where women want to work is testament to the programmes we have developed to foster the best work environment. We are particularly pleased to be cited in four categories as UK leaders. We are very proud to have been selected for this award scheme.”
