Job Role
In what is an influential, high profile role, you’ll be instrumental in the success of £multimillion projects for prestigious clients that will rely on your unrivalled expertise and commercial insight as a highly trusted advisor.
Taking ownership of enterprise architecture process and design on major engagements, you’ll provide high level technology management consulting as a key part of a top-level, technologically-focused and uncommonly talented senior team.
A key aspect of the role will see you help clients discover the many advantages of exploring alternative ways of working, and how architecture-led innovations can fundamentally shape the future success of their business and bring about continuous improvement.
Assignments, which will vary in duration, could involve you in large-scale enterprise architecture, technology strategy, IT/IS policies, mentoring and assurance services.
Specifically, you could be acting as the single Capgemini person within a large organisation, building the senior level relationships and “pulling through” additional client work. You could also be the lead technology advisor on the largest scale implementation programme, providing strategic advice and guidance on best practices. There is also an increasing demand for high-profile interim roles, in which case you would be expected to build senior level relationships from board level through to IS/IT and business specialists.
Candidate Profile
Our ‘best in class’ reputation for enterprise architecture and design demands that your own reputation is built on unquestionable credibility and considerable hands-on experience of delivery from scope to run, either as a CTO, CIO or equivalent.
This experience must include the design of service-orientated architecture and the linking technology and business strategy, and should have covered the following: programme management, transformation, IS&T strategy, infrastructure and networking, applications, security, BI, content management, programme and technology governance.
An accomplished relationship builder with outstanding consultancy skills, you’ve an absolute passion for technology-enabled business change and a consummate belief in what you do.
