Application Outsourcing

Application Outsourcing (AO) from Capgemini can lower costs, reduce risks, increase resilience and enhance service flexibility, making business systems more agile and providing our clients with significant and measurable improvements that will benefit the performance of their business.

Capgemini’s AO capability spans a broad spectrum of activity, including the running of legacy systems and the management of applications undergoing transformation. As the 5th largest global AO service provider, we deliver world class ITIL-based processes, and have established off-shore and near-shore facilities. Applications covered include ERP solutions such as Oracle and SAP, web-based applications based on Microsoft .NET and Java, data warehouses and legacy systems. Integration services are also provided.

Infrastructure Outsourcing

Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) is about managing the complicated set of hardware and software sitting behind the applications that the user sees every day on their desktop or mobile device. It needs to be flexible, scalable and secure. While looking at economies of scale to provide value for money, and best practice to give consistency and reliability, there is a need to collaborate with customers to understand the current and future needs of their business and the individual user.

Innovation (“CTO”)

Delivering enterprise architecture, the CTO team link sector and market demand with new capabilities, taking ideas through to the business case and beyond and presenting innovation and thought leadership to prospects and clients.

The key role in this area is the Enterprise Architect (EA), responsible for understanding the business mission, strategy, and processes and creating an IT technology strategy that enables the business to meet its goals.

Enterprise Services is a collection of interrelated core groups performing client-facing management roles. Each group promotes standard methods to achieve efficient, consistent and predictable outcomes for us and our clients and ensure we have a single Capgemini approach to the areas covered, which include:
