The Hub of Group Learning
The Capgemini Group University opened its €96 million Business Learning Forum at Les Fontaines, France in 2003.
The University offers a stimulating environment to help inform, train and engage. Combining work, socialising and regeneration, its role is to:
- develop the professional competencies of our people through leading edge learning,
- provide a platform for networking within and across the professions and communities,
- promote employee integration and collaboration with colleagues, clients and partners,
- bring the Group’s values and spirit to life through creative learning opportunities.
In 2005 participation in the University’s training programmes reached record highs. A total of 20,191 participant days were delivered to 4,900 people, with a further 1,000 attending University specific courses in their local countries – a significant increase on the 2,470 participants in 2004.
Inspiring Leaders
A key driver for growth and success comes through having leaders with the passion and ability to drive business results and lasting change.
In order to strengthen our leadership capabilities and to establish a common leadership culture, we offer a number of courses through our University Leadership Development school. The Leadership Drive is an integrated programme to develop and strengthen our leadership capability, to accelerate our own individual abilities and to drive change, results and passion.
Business Priority Weeks

Launched in 2004, the University’s Business Priority weeks which run through out the year bring up to 300 people from different countries and professional disciplines together to:
- discuss and learn about an issue important to the whole Group,
- build a common position and expand communication between delivery, sales and management teams.
A number of Business Priority Weeks were organised in 2005 at the University, including themes on our Rightshore™ approach and on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
