Our Local Initiatives
Our local programme is about realising that community support starts where our employees live and work. We support the causes close to the hearts of our people, their families and communities and also those that are related to projects or clients we are working with.
Supporting a wide range of organisations, charities and initiatives
We have supported and worked with numerous charities, including: the Myotubular Trust, Crimestoppers, Raleigh, Rotherham Rugby Club Community Programme and Telford United Football Club.
- Providing time-off work for volunteering

"Our long-standing relationship with Capgemini works in both directions. Raleigh provide learning and development programmes that are integral to Capgemini's graduate scheme providing essential competency development such as leadership, decision making and team working. Whilst Capgemini's support – from financial and volunteering, to pro bono IT consulting – is invaluable in helping us provide a transformational journey for everyone who joins an expedition and support those who want to make a difference on their return through our 4th challenge alumni programme."
Andy Wahid, Head of Business Development, Raleigh
"AFC Telford United has enjoyed a remarkable partnership with Capgemini since our 'introduction' to each other in 2004. Since then, Capgemini has provided support on many different levels and, as partners; we have made some significant achievements.
The partnership with Capgemini has influenced the club to enhance its Community principles and values making us one of the best examples of a Community-owned football club in the country. Capgemini has been hand-in-hand with us on our remarkable journey since 2004 which undoubtedly makes this partnership unique in the world of football."
Lee Carter, Chairman AFC Telford United
"The Bluebell Hospice is delighted with the money that Capgemini have donated through their Community Impact Awards scheme. Capgemini's support will enable us to make a real difference to local children who suffer from a complex range of life limiting conditions."
Helen Mower, Head of Fundraising for Bluebell Wood
"We are all very grateful for this donation from Capgemini. It will make a huge difference in terms of maintaining the basic fabric of the school building and providing essential materials such as books, flash cards and educational toys. It shows great strength, depth and vision in an organisation such as Capgemini when it shows an interest in and recognises the value of smaller 'hands on' projects such as ours."
John Adnitt, Chairman of the Trustees of the Albaraca Nursery School
