Looking after our number one asset

Capgemini has made a commitment to attract the most creative and highly qualified professionals in the world. We are equally committed to looking after them well so that they achieve peak performance, and stay with us. One of the most important ways of doing this is to promote their wellbeing and health, and we are continually putting in place and improving programmes to do so. To us, making sure we have a healthy, happy and sustainable workforce is both common sense and good business practice.

Why employee wellbeing is vital

The talented, dedicated people who work for us are the bedrock of our success today and in the future. For their benefit, and that of our clients and our own business, we do everything we can to help our people to stay healthy and to feel good about themselves and the company they work for.

Capgemini’s approach to wellbeing

Capgemini’s group-wide initiatives to promote employee wellbeing include work-life balance programmes and help with stress management.

The UK company has its own health, safety and wellbeing resources, which offer employees a wide range of advice, guidance, discounts and benefits, some of which are outlined below

We are strongly committed to the health and safety of employees. We aim to achieve an accident rate of less than 1% (beyond statutory requirements) and have met this objective every year since 2000.  Additionally our health and safety procedures are regularly audited by external assessors and clients and in 2010 we passed the rigorously assessed Achilles Audit.

Capgemini’s wellbeing resources

Health and happiness are individual, and so different things will work for different people. Here we outline just a few of the resources which Capgemini employees can mix and match to suit their specific needs.
